all people from the world are very curious to celebrate this Halloween, Indonesian people also take a part in this Halloween, they also make some event at anywhere, at home,hotel,etc..
One thing that i just don't get it why all the people always follow other people tradition? I bet that more than 50% of them don't know what is Halloween used to be, they just celebrate it because they feel it's exciting.
This is human truly are, they like to do something different in case that they are happy with it.
Actually from the information that i get that :
The word Halloween is first attested in the 16th century and represents a Scottish variant of the fuller All-Hallows-Even ("evening"), that is, the night before All Hallows Day. Up through the early 20th century, the spelling "Hallowe'en" was frequently used, eliding the "v" and shortening the word. Although the phrase All Hallows is found in Old English (ealra hālgena mæssedæg, mass-day of all saints), All-Hallows-Even is itself not attested until 1556.
That's some information that i get, in American the teenagers used to dressed in some Monster or other creatures that they believed lived in the Otherworld, then they bring a basket then from house to house knock the doors and say Trick or Treat . This means that the adults should give them some candy into their baskets, or they'll be tricked by the teenagers.
This celebration run until now because the most important for human is they are happy even don't know the thing that they do actually.
